Who we are, why it began, & how we got ourselves on this quest to make fast-food "real"
Back in the summer of 2004, the impossible happened -- Uncle Faris, the patriarch of the b.good family, threw out the first pitch at a Sox game
Back in the day, The Retail Association of MA awarded us Best Restaurant. Unfortunately, complications arose because Jon is a cheap bastard who likes pissing off Korean War vets
First couple of months in business and funds were low. But, we wanted to advertise. So, we gave a college kid with a part-time rap career a bunch of free food in exchange for this.
WE’RE TWO BEST FRIENDS
We're two best friends who grew up eating in our uncle's kitchen. Anthony's Uncle Faris served us the best homemade food.
Fifteen years later, we started a business together around a simple idea - make fast-food "real" by making it the way it should be… by people not factories.
See, we loved fast-food but hated how it made us feel. So, we created a place where you can feel good about the food you eat.
When we were growing up, Uncle Faris would always leave us with pieces of advice - "take it easy", "live life", and most of all "be good".
