our 8th birthday

Hey Everyone,

Happy birthday to b.good.

Yes, 8 years ago today, we sold our 1st house-ground burger on Dartmouth Street. And like we always say whenever we reminisce, it's incredible that we sold anything that day and that we did it without maiming ourselves, blowing up our restaurant, or inflicting psychological damage upon our customers. (Actually, we must've caused some mental trauma to whoever laid eyes on us. We looked like sick animals who were trapped inside a restaurant, sprinting around in circles, smashing into cooking equipment, and groaning in pain.)

But, 8 years later, we're still here chasing our dream of making fast-food "real". And we're really grateful to you guys for making it all possible.

So, in our birthday tradition, we're serving up $8 shake combo meals (or just regular combos if you'd like a drink) for our family today.

Bring in your Family ID (your key-chain, app or the code on the bottom of this email) anytime today, January 12th. Our burger (beef, turkey, veggie, or chicken sandwich), fries ("real" or sweet), and shake combo is just $8 to celebrate our 8 years of life.

And like we've done every year since the beginning, we're also celebrating our birth by giving one of you FREE BURGERS FOR THE NEXT YEAR of our business' life.

Love lived across the street from our first b.good and came by all the time). Because he's kin and his hot sauce is really good (and because we're holding on to the dream that he'll play our Family BBQ this summer), we're officially serving G's hot sauce at all b.goods from now on. Clearly, a guy who eats our burgers, sells millions of records, and makes his own hot sauce is more than qualified to protect us from any freeloader who tries to take advantage of our love for family.

P.S. Following in the selfless footsteps of last year's Customer of The Year, Chris, our Mass Ave cousin, has decided to donate his lifetime of free burgers to charity. (By his calculation, he eats about 100 a year. So, that's what he's donating every year from now on.) And Chris has left it up to our family to decide where his burgers go.
