be our cousin on Newbury Street

b.good contest winner JohnIn October 2007, we opened our 4th restaurant and we were once again just like that chubby, little weirdo on the Brady Bunch, "Cousin Oliver".

We were lonely, weird-looking, and nobody knew why we were here. So, we needed someone to take us in and love us like family even though we weren't related. We needed a cousin. And we put up free "cousin oliver" burgers for life for that special customer who'd tell us why they'd be the best cousin for us on Newbury Street.

John Madison, our neighbor who lives in an apartment above our Newbury Street restaurant, became our beloved kin by convincing us that he shouldnt have to eat refried beans for dinner anymore. But, John didn't just write this little song, the Berkeley student sent us this beautiful, weird, little video of himself singing his song.

The video our cousin submitted to win free burgers for life.

Refried Beans

Late last night I wanted something to eat
So I went to my cupboard for a little treat
but there was nothing in there but a refried can of beans.

130 calories, 25 from fat
4 servings in each can
and I ate up all of that.

That brown mush inside of the can
so cold, and gross and honestly bland
is about enough to do in any man
