Ed and Rosemary Burchell own the family-operated Roseda Farm, in Monkton, MD. So they’re the folks who make it possible for us to grind delicious, dry-aged, Black Angus beef here every morning to make juicy burgers.
In 1996, Ed decided to get into the cattle business as a second career (with the purchase of two cows and a calf). He used the knowledge from his first career in healthcare to ensure that his cattle were highest quality and healthy so they could produce the finest beef.
Ed makes sure that no Roseda cows ever receive growth hormones and that antibiotics are only used when medically necessary. The cattle are raised in clean, healthy environments and given a natural, balanced diet. Good clean living, makes for happy cows!
