Our Customer of The Year

Over the years, a few special family members have given our house-ground burgers perfect, weird, little names. So, when we decided to revamp our salad menu in the spring of 2008, we knew that stirring deep inside one of our customers was the perfect name for one of our beautiful, new salads.

Inspired by the loss of their beloved pet guinea pig, Erik and Andrea's "Hatchback" earned this salad-naming tag-team free ones for a year.

According to the champs, "It must be kismet that this contest started today. Yesterday, Hatchback, our guinea pig of over 4 years passed on to the Great Guinea Beyond. His name came from the fact that he had a large tuft of hair that stuck up in the back causing him to resemble a Geo Metro. Besides his pellets, he was given spinach, arugula, almonds and dried apples regularly. I'm not sure how he would have taken the blue cheese, but I know that he would have loved this salad. I can't think of a better way to carry on the memory of the world's greatest guinea pig than to name a salad after him from my favorite burger joint. Please help Hatchback live on forever. Thanks."
