salad name: the hatchback

Why:
It must be kismet to get this email today. Yesterday, Hatchback, our guinea pig of over 4 years passed on to the Great Guinea Beyond. His name came from the fact that he had a large tuft of hair that stuck up in the back causing him to resemble a Geo Metro. Besides his pellets, he was given spinach, arugula, almonds and dried apples regularly. I'm not sure how he would have taken the blue cheese, but I know that he would have loved this salad. I can't think of a better way to live on the memory of the world's greatest guinea pig than to name a salad after him from my favorite burger joint. Please help Hatchback live on forever. Thanks.

salad name: cherie johnson

Why:
Cherie Johnson (pronounced Cherry) was Punky Brewsters best friend, who notably got stuck in a fridge when she made the ill fated decision to hide there. Not only did her relationship with Punky teach me about friendship, but it taught the important lesson about hiding in appliances. I think it works because b.good has an obscure t.v. character thing going, plus - it makes you think of Fridges (crispness, freshness, refreshing) and the new salad contains Cherries! Hooray!

salad name: baby tabitha

Why:
Tabitha is the name of Darrin and Samantha Stephens' infant daughter on the television sitcom BEWITCHED, which originally aired from 1964 to 1972. Tabitha is half-witch and half-mortal -- her mother has magical powers but her father does not. Ten reasons why B.Good should name its new salad "Baby Tabitha": 10. Tabitha is a mixed-breed infant, just like B.Good's new baby, which brings together different kinds of lettuce and dried fruit. 9. The word "baby" in the name "Baby Tabitha" hints at the salad's delicious baby spinach. 8. On BEWITCHED, the character Tabitha was introduced in 1966, two years after the show debuted and had become a hit. Similarly, B.Good has become an established hit in the Boston area, and is now introducing a new baby salad to its menu. Audiences loved Tabitha when she was born on the television show, and customers are bound to love B.Good's new baby as well! 7. Jon and Anthony -- I think it's about time for a girl's name to appear on B.Good's menu. "Cousin Oliver," "Adopted Luke," and "El Guapo" are all perfect little names, but they're all masculine! "Tabitha" is not only a weird little name, but it would add some diversity to your group of customer-created names. 6. Speaking personally, I LOVED the TV show BEWITCHED when I was younger -- I watched it all the time on Nick at Nite. This former addiction parallels my current addiction to B.Good salads. Ask any one of my closest friends -- if you wanted me to pick a favorite between the New American, the Caesar, and the Asian Chicken salads, I couldn't do it! I love all the ingredients in B.Good's new salad as well. 5. Tabitha is an unusual name, and it will definitely stick out in the minds of your customers. 4. As a character in a fun and quirky television family, Baby Tabitha would be a fantastic name for B.Good's own fun and quirky family. 3. If you mix around the letters of "B.Good Tabitha," you get "Habit at B.Good" -- and customers will surely get in the habit of eating this yummy salad at B.Good. 2. The character Tabitha is both sweet and daring -- she's an adorable infant who makes mischief with her magic. B.Good's new salad is also both sweet and bold, with sweet dried cherries and dried apples on the one hand, and blue cheese / crunchy almonds / peppery arugula on the other hand. 1. Anyone who tries B.Good's new salad is bound to be bewitched by it!

salad name: the millhouse

Why:
Okay Guys - HERE IT IS!!!! First, you'll have to put up with my logic before getting to the BEST NAMES EVER!!!! So, here we goÉ B. Good will always be known as a "burger" joint. Burgers are awesome. They're tough, masculine (sometimes) and just flat out cool. Burgers are like the Terminator of the food world. You don't mess with em'. The salad however, is like the little nerdy guy who is always trying to fit in, but can never really hang with the cool crowd, no matter how hard he tries. He's always the underdog. You like him though. He's a great guy with a wonderful heart. But he's not exactly the Prom King type or a Chick-Magnet. When I go into B. Good and order a salad (I often eat the burgers too), I can't help but feel a little inferior to the guy next to me who has decided to dominate a Cousin Oliver with some fries and a shake. I know that the B. Good staff and the other patrons are staring at me thinking, "Did that guy just order a salad? What a wuss". I want to tell them all that I crushed two burgers the night before, but I never do. I just stand there and take the silent beating. No matter how hard we may try, "The Salad" will always have its own place on every menu - in a separate section away from the "popular" dishes. We should accept this fact and work with it, not fight it. So, in recognition of the shy-guy or "nerd" in all of us, I would like to nominate two names that seem to fit this theme. I can't seem to decide which one I like best after weeks of deliberation. I hope you guys like at least one of themÉ NAME #1: SKIPPY HANDLEMAN Erwin "Skippy Handleman was the next-door neighbor on Family Ties and the best friend of Alex P. Keaton. If you recall, he had a big crush on pretty-girl Malorie, but no matter how hard he tried he was never quite "cool" enough to get her attention. Everyone that watched the show loved Skippy. You felt for Skippy. You wanted to see him win the girl. But the big, tough, motorcycle-guys always ended up with Malorie instead. This would be a great way to pay homage to the man we all knew as "Skippy" and make one famous nerd just a bit cooler. NAME #2: THE MILLHOUSE Everyone knows the character Millhouse from the Simpsons. Like Skippy, he is constantly trying to run with the cool crowd. He's adorable and loveable, just not the toughest guy in the world. He's a bit shy and always a likely candidate to get pummeled in the schoolyard. No matter what, Millhouse always gets up and tries to gain the respect of his more popular peers. Like Skippy, we all feel for Millhouse and want to see him come out okay in the end. So there it is guys. I trust you'll pick a great name for the new salad.
