Why Adopted Luke?

In November 2005, we decided to change our menu. But before we made the changes, we asked our customers to help us name the most precious new addition to our burger family.

Beating out 321 other names, "Adopted Luke" earned Rashmi Melgiri the right to come to b.good every day for the rest of her life and get free Adopted Luke burgers.

According to the champ, "I basically thought the Cousin Oliver name needed an update. It's true that b.good has been a Cousin Oliver to all of us in the world of fast food - it came out of nowhere and managed to breath new life in something that we were becoming disinterested with. However, the fact that Cousin Oliver seems to disappear after 'The Brady Bunch' was over, bothers me. I don't believe b.good will fall victim to the same fate. So, I say name the burger 'Adopted Luke' - the rascally, much more interesting Cousin Oliver of the 90's sitcom 'Growing Pains' who goes on to become one of the premier actors of our generation."
